Detailed overview of Silverlight 2 Beta 2 Web Services features

The Silverlight Web Services Team has published a nice article which describes the new features introduced in SL2B2:

  • Duplex communication (great improvement, I’ve just tested it and It works well);
  • LINQ over JSON;
  • Configuration support using the ServiceReference.clientConfig file;
  • The new “Silverlight-enabled Wcf Service” Visual Studio Item template;
  • SOAP improvements.

 For detailed instructions about these topics, please refer to the original documentation.
